This mechanic can propel you forward a bit, allowing you to outrun conveyor belts, fling ingredients further (when letting them go away from a countertop) and knock items out of other players' hands. It has just above half a second of cooldown.

On some levels, you can end up teleporting (glitch) or keep yourself on ledges for longer.
