5-2 is the twentieth level of Overcooked!. The level introduces Cannons as obstacles.

Overview

The kitchen is set in the Molten Magma; a town covered by lava. This kitchen has four quadrants, each one can be reached via bridges made out of rocks. Only 3 out of 4 bridges are active at once, and when they change, one falls into the lava, and the other rises. Falling into the lava gives a Time Penalty.

The lower-right quadrant has the Service Counter and the Plate Return, the lower-left has the Sink and all Ingredient Boxes, the upper-left has the Fire Extinguisher, a Pot on a Burner, a Countertop and a Chopping Board, and the upper-right has the Trash Bin, more Countertops, two Plates and two Pans on Burners.

A cannon is present shooting down the middle of the kitchen, acting as an additional threat to chefs.

Strategies

• In Overcooked! only, it is possible to dash over the vertical gaps between quadrants if it is timed well enough.
• Due to the small amount of Countertops, throw the Fire Extinguisher off of its counter to free up space.
• To avoid falling off, do not walk multiple (or "both" in 1 or 2 Player) chefs through the same bridge at the same time.
