The Overcooked! 2 Seasonal Updates are a series of free DLC that can be accessed through the "Extras" tab on the main menu. They get automatically downloaded upon installing Overcooked! 2 or updating it.

Kevin's Christmas Cracker[]

Launched on December 14, 2018, it was the first of these updates. Upon loading into the world map, the levels can be accessed by the portal to the northeast, the upper one from the snowy biome. It features:

  • Levels: 5 Christmassy kitchens.
  • Chefs: 2 new chilly chefs: elf and snowman.
  • Recipes: new Hot Chocolate and Christmas Desserts.
  • Game modes: cook as much as you like with unlimited time and orders in practice mode.

Chinese New Year[]

Launched on February 5, 2019. From the middle of the world map, the levels can be accessed by the portal to the north, the right one from the Chinese biome. It features:

  • Levels: 7 new kitchens.
  • Chefs: 2 new traditional chefs: dragon and pig.
  • Recipes: new Fruit Platters and Hot Pots.
  • Mechanics: beware of the Dancing Dragon running throughout the kitchen.
  • Game modes: add seconds to the remaining timer by turning in dishes and hold on for as long as you can in survival mode.

Winter Wonderland[]

Launched on December 17, 2019, it includes mechanics introduced in paid DLC. From the middle of the world map, the levels can be accessed by the portal to the southeast, the lower one from the snowy biome. It features:
